The Leather & More – Leather and Leather Apparel Fair, bringing together the leather industry for the third time this year, is preparing to welcome sector professionals with brand-new experiences. At the entrance of Hall C, a specially designed Cold Room will first chill visitors to -30°C, and then warm them up again with stylish leather jackets displayed on hangers. Guests stepping into the Cold Room will also have the chance to capture this unique moment with an in-room camera.
Organized by İZFAŞ under the auspices of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, in partnership with the Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) and the Izmir Chamber of Commerce (IZTO), the 3rd Leather & More – Leather and Leather Apparel Fair will be held at Fuar Izmir, Turkey’s largest and most modern fairground, between January 21–23. Over three days, the fair will gather leading leather and leather apparel brands, retailers, wholesalers, accessory stores, and design firms in Hall C, creating opportunities for significant business connections. With the participation of international buyers, Leather & More is set to make a strong contribution to trade. The fair will be open exclusively to professional visitors, and will also feature dazzling fashion shows.
This year’s standout concept will surprise participants: a Cold Room located at the fair’s entrance foyer. Designed to feel like a changing cabin with a velvet curtain at the entrance, the Cold Room will greet visitors with leather jackets. Cooled down to -30°C, the room will chill attendees first, then warm them with the comfort of real leather apparel. This creative installation is expected to attract major attention from both visitors and exhibitors.
The Cold Room will also leave visitors with a lasting memory. Under the slogan “Take Your Picture in the Warmest Leather Jacket”, guests will encounter a fun surprise inside: a full-length mirror equipped with a remote-controlled lens for photo taking. After experiencing the extreme cold in leather jackets, visitors will receive printed copies of their photos as they exit, taking home a unique memento of their Leather & More experience.
The 3rd edition of Leather & More aims to host more than 40 exhibitors, mainly from Izmir, Istanbul, Aydın, and Manisa. The fair continues to grow each year, serving as a platform not only for showcasing the latest designs but also for securing the first trade agreements of the year. Alongside buyers from across Turkey, industry professionals from Germany, Azerbaijan, Belgium, France, South Korea, the UK, Spain, Kosovo, Montenegro, Pakistan, Russia, Tunisia, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Greece are expected to attend.
